It gave rhythm to the day. But for quite a while now, I\u2019ve found myself painting in silence. Not out of melancholy, but out of attentiveness.<br \/>\nSilence, I\u2019ve discovered, is not empty. It\u2019s full of presence. In the quiet, I hear the brush against canvas, the scrape of a palette knife as I mix paint. Although, I&#8217;m not abandoning that, I am however, shifting gears a bit. Fewer people seem to be buying art and appreciating it like former generations. The walls of homes are often bare, or filled with transient d\u00e9cor: mass-produced prints, word art that shouts \u201cLive, Laugh, Love\u201d without ever whispering anything true.<\/p>\n<h6>Why Enduring Art Still Matters<\/h6>\n<p>\u2022 <strong>Art is Presence<\/strong>: It\u2019s not just decoration\u2014it\u2019s a companion.<br \/>\n\u2022 <strong>Art is Story:<\/strong> Each piece holds memory, emotion, and meaning.<br \/>\n\u2022 <strong>Art is Reflection<\/strong>: It quietly reveals what we notice, what we care about.<br \/>\nTo live without art on the walls feels, to me, like living without windows. Sterile. Closed off. Unmoved. And while experiences are beautiful\u2014travel, dining, concerts\u2014they pass. Art remains. It waits.
